This project has been awarded to Pacific Civil and Infrastructure. The work to be performed under this contract includes the construe-tion of approximately 2,170 linear feet of water main and appurte- nances along 3rd Avenue (State Route 169) starting from approxirnately Roberts Drive and extend-ing approximately 1,250 feet to the north. The project will install 950 linear feet of 12-inc.h d iame- ter ductile iron pipe along the west side of 3rd Avenue and 855 linear feet of 12-inch diameter ductile iron pipe along the east side of 3rd Avenue. Approximately 365 linear feet of 12-inch inside diam- eter HDPE pipe will be installed. via Horizontal Direction Drilling (HDD) on the east side of 3rd Avenue, under the Cinder Creek and Mud Creek culvert crossings. The project site experiences high volume traffic. Existing Concrete panels and AC water main are located underneath the existing asphalt roadway. Concrete saw cutting and partial concrete panel removal will be required for the length ofthe west side water main segment and AC abandonment and/or removal will be required, for lengths of the east side water main segment Prevailing wages are applicable to this project.
