Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Auburn, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility; and water / sewer project.

This project includes furnishing and installing of an approximate 21-ft x 11-ft (exterior dimensions) precast concrete building with insulated walls on a concrete foundation and all associated site clearing and grading. The Route 12 water main work and water main stub ups through this prefabricated building's floor will be completed by others. The contractor shall coordinate this work with the Auburn Water District prior to installation of concrete footings. Minimum Wage Rates are applicable, as determined by the Department of Labor and Work Force Development for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, under the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 149. Instructions for submitting bids and Bid Security Deposit are contained in the Contract Documents. A five percent (5%) bid bond is required with bid submission. The District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or portions thereof if deemed to be in the best interest of the District. A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred (100) percent of the Contract Price, will be required of the successful Bidder in the form described in DOCUMENT 00100, INSTRUCTIONS AND INFORMATION FOR BIDDERS. This Contract is being Bid on under the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 30, Section 39M. No Bidder may withdraw its Bid within thirty (30) days (Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays excluded) after the actual date of the Bid Opening.
