A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The work at both project sites will include, but not be limited to, the clearing grubbing of the exist-ing grass fields, installation of new turf, subbase, and drainage, refinishing existing goal posts (Madison MS only), removal of a portion of the existing track sur-facing (Madison MS only), instal-lation of new track surface and. all associated markings (Madison MS only), and all related site res.. toration as noted on the drawings. The cost range is $2,100,000 to $2,400,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The project will involve the replacing the existing grass playfield with synthetic turf and accompanying underdrain system and resurfacing of the surrounding track. The total project disturbance area is approximately 84,172 square feet (1.932 acres). The total new plus replaced hard surface area is about 70,280 square feet (1.613 acres). In accordance with Section 4.4.2 of Volume 1 of the 2021 City of Seattle Stormwater Manual, the project will require On-site Stormwater Management. On-site Stormwater Management BMPs include retained trees. Water quality treatment is required, and will be addressed with a Modular Wetland System that provides enhanced treatment. Flow control is required to the Pre-developed Pasture Standard and will be provided by a StormTech chamber detention facility The project will encompass work at the athletic field and will include but not be limited to the following: 1. Coordination with any other contractors on the job sites. 2. Temporary erosion and sedimentation control facilities, SWPPP. 3. Temporary chain link fencing as required to secure the construction area. 4. Removal and offsite disposal of the existing organics including clearing and stripping of existing organic material. 5. Demolition and offsite disposal including irrigation piping, drainage piping asphalt paving, pavement, stockpiles, etc. 6. Earthwork, excavation, filling, grading, disposal non useable materials, compaction of subgrade and finish grade establishment. 7. Utilities including storm drainage with connections to public utilities, water quality, onsite conveyance, perforated subsurface drainage, and catch basins. 8. Irrigation system installation including piping, valves, and connection to existing on site system. 9. Electrical conduit and junction box installation for future proposed athletic field lighting system. 10. Cast in place concrete including concrete curbing and flatwork. 11. Chain link fence including posts, footings, rails, fabric, and gates. 12. Permeable aggregate materials for the synthetic field areas. 13. Installation of supplemental pad for field areas. 14. Installation of synthetic turf surface including lines and markings. 15. Installation of new rubberized track surfacing
