Renovation of a museum in Hamilton, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum.
Seeks experienced Historic Restoration General Contractors who specialize in installation of restoration of structural repairs, masonry repairs and roof restoration of historic buildings to submit prequalification statements for the: Roof, Chimneys, and Structural Stabilization at the Historic Isaac Pearson House. The project generally consists of the following: 1. Project Supervision and Administration of Historic Preservation Projects; 2. Structural repairs to the first floor and roof framing 3. Roof Restoration 4. Masonry Chimney Repairs/Rebuilding All respondents will be notified in writing of the decision as to qualifications. Only those determined to be pre-qualified Historic Restoration General Contractors for this project will be invited to submit bids for the work. This property is listed on the New Jersey and National Registers of the Historic Places. All prospective bidders must demonstrate experience in the successful completion of projects of a similar scope and nature that followed the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties (Revised 1995), and is subject to review by the NJ Historic Trust and the State Historic Preservation Office. All contractors are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 52:32-44 (Business Registration), NJ Prevailing Wage Act (NJSA 34:11-56.25 et.seq), N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq. (Contract Compliance and Equal Employment Opportunities in Public Contracts)
