Water Main Replacement in Various Roads Project The Work consists of Extension of approximately 5200 linear feet of 8" and 12" water mains, water service and hydrant replacement and all work incidental thereto, in accordance with the Specifications and plans attached hereto. Additional drawings showing details in accordance with which the Work is to be done may be furnished by addendum from time to time during the bidding period by the Owner and shall then become a part of the Contract Documents. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, services, materials, equipment, plant, machinery, apparatus, appliances, tools, supplies, and all other things necessary to do all work required for the completion of each item of the Work and as herein specified. The Work to be done and paid for under any item shall not be limited to the exact extent mentioned or described but shall include all incidental work necessary or customarily done for the completion of that item. The Work of this Contract includes but is not limited to the following within the North Attleborough water distribution system: 1. Replacement of Water Main in new locations on Cushman Road, Paine Road and a portion of Orne St., 2. Replacement of Water Main in place with water Bypass on a portion of Orne St., 3. Removal and disposal of all hydrants, piping and appurtenances as required in the contract documents. 4. Replacement of approximately 63 water services from new water main to curb stop (1" minimum) 5. Weekly temporary paving of all completed locations of water main. 6. Pressure testing and chlorination of all temporary and completed mains. 7. Permanent trench patch of all roadways at the completion of the project. 8. Restoration of any lawn or landscaped areas.
