Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Orange, Massachusetts. Working plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
As of November 30,2022, the bid results came in far over budget and we have not awarded a contract to anyone and will not be doing so.Project will rebid but no definite date yet. The proposed project consists of the demolition of the existing basketball and tennis courts and the removal of the existing fencing. The basketball and tennis courts will be replaced in the same location with new fencing and associated painted lines. Bids for this project are subject to the provisions of the M.G.L. c. 30B, 39M as amended. Wages are subject to Massachusetts minimum wage rates as per M.G.L. c. 149, 26 to 27H inclusive. The successful bidder must comply with Chapter 151B as amended, of the Massachusetts General Laws and with the provisions of Executive Order No. 74, as amended by Executive Order No. 116 dated May 1, 1975 pertaining to Equal Opportunity Anti-Discrimination and Affirmative Action. The successful bidder will be required to substantially complete the Work no later than May 1, 2022.
