Construct new four lane alignment along SR 167 and new interchanges at SR 161 and at Valley Avenue, wetland mitigation in the Wapato Creek Watershed and, the missing link of the regional trail system. The project will be constructed in two phases. Stage 2a (WDO-410a) will construct the new alignment along SR 167 from MP 4.53 to 6.96, build the new interchange at SR 161 and the missing link of the regional trail system from the Puyallup Recreation Center and the River Walk Trail. Stage 2b (WDO-410) will construct the new alignment along SR 167 from MP 1.19 to 4.53, the new interchange at Valley Avenue, the missing link of the regional trail system from SR 99 to the Puyallup Recreation Center, wetland mitigation in the Wapato Creek Watershed, and after the completion of Stage 2a will complete final opening preparations from MP 1.19 to 6.68. This is a multi-year project and the programming reflects the funds available within the span of the regional TIP.
