Renovation of a library in Baraboo, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.

**As of February 3, 2022, project was awarded to Vogel Brothers Construction Co. but awarded amount is not available.** 1. The Project consists of furnishing and installing new Furniture for the Carnegie-Schadde Memorial Public Library, located at 230 4th Avenue, Baraboo, Wisconsin 53913. 2. The Work is described in the Proposal Documents prepared by Quinn Evans dated October 18, 2022. The extent of furniture is indicated on the schedules attached to the end of this section and on the Drawings. 3. The Owner has contracted with Vogel Bros. Building Co. to act as General Contractor for the building and site construction. The provider of the furniture shall coordinate with the General Contractor and other subcontractors, including scheduling, staging, and access to expedite the performance of this contract and to avoid conflicts with the work of other contracts. a. The Architect shall provide access to the separate Contract Documents prepared for the building and site construction. The Vendor shall review these documents and become aware of any relationship this separate work has with the Work of this Contract. Copies of the documents are available for review at the Architects office. 4. Full-time supervision by a qualified project manager of the furniture Vendor shall be required. Project Category Code: Furniture, Fixtures, Equipment Description: Furnish all materials, tools, labor, and equipment necessary to provide inside furnishing, delivery and installation of new furniture for the Carnegie-Schadde Memorial Public Library, located at 230 4th Avenue, in accordance with the plans, specifications, and contract documents. Should you have any questions concerning this project, please contact Ashley Taliaferro, Quinn Evans Architects, 804.533.4737, by no later than November 10, 2022. No proposer may withdraw their proposal within 45 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive or not waive any informalities in the proposals received, and to accept any proposal which they deem most favorable to the interests of the Owner. Published by the authority of Patrick Cannon, Executive Director of the Community Development Authority of the City of Baraboo. The Owner intends to issue a Purchase Order to the selected proposer(s). Each proposer must submit for the entirety of the applicable Package and does not to need to submit for all packages to be considered. Proposals must be based on the specified products. If substitutions are made, the substituted item(s) must be "equal to or better than" the items specified. Substitutions will be evaluated based on the technical performance & aesthetic characteristics of the basis of design product. If a Vendor wishes to substitute an item, they will need to provide the Owner with a cut sheet on the furniture & finishes. Any substitutions must be clearly highlighted in the package with total price clearly marked & reason for substitution. In addition, any substitutions must be submitted by November 3, 2022. Purchase Orders will be issued to the selected vendors during the month of December 2022, exact date to be determined. The selection of a Vendor will be based primarily on qualifications of staff and firm, product, pricing, demonstration, and proposal response of understanding of project scheduling needs for implementation of project scope to achieve all of the milestone schedule requirements. Baraboo Community Development Authority reserves the right to issue Purchase Order(s) to multiple vendors by furniture category. Baraboo Community Development Authority reserves the right to modify product quantities prior to issuing Purchase Order(s). The Owner does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, sex, national origin, age, disability, status as a service disabled veteran, or any other basis prohibited by law.
