The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to solicit proposals and ultimately enter into a contract between The Housing Authority of Salt Lake City (HASLC), and a qualified Contractor(s) for federally funded Exterior Plumbing Services. As these are federally funded services, HUD determined wage rates shall be paid to all employees of the CONTRACTOR or Sub-Contractor. Whenever State rates exceed the HUD determined wage rates, the HUD determined wage rates shall not be enforced. Minority, women, veteran, and tribal owned businesses are strongly encouraged to apply. Question Submission Close Date 11/2/2022 5:00 PM MDT The scope of work will include exterior plumbing maintenance services for HASLC owned properties throughout Salt Lake City, UT. HASLC is seeking proposals from qualified, licensed independent Contractor(s) with demonstrated professional competence and experience to provide all labor, equipment, goods, and supplies necessary to provide exterior plumbing maintenance services for multi-story and single-story buildings and homes. The awarded Contractor(s) shall also provide drain unclogging and emergency backhoe services; locate, repair, and replace leaking water and sewer pipes (PVC, CPVC, galvanic pipe and copper tubing); unclogging storm drains.
