Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Clementon, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; playground / park / athletic field; and water / sewer project.
Construction of a 1,650+ SY asphalt pickleball court area, 1,344+ SY asphalt paved Parking Lot Addition, including removal of existing gaming and seating areas, excavation, grading, dense graded aggregate subbase, asphalt base and top paving, installation of concrete curb bumpers, stall striping, and signage. Additional work includes asphalt sidewalk, chain link fencing and gates, and Stormwater Management improvements, i.c. inlets, piping, and stormwater management basin. The project also entails the restoration of all disturbed vegetation within the project area. Bid Security will be required in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total Bid amount, but shall not exceed Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00). The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract price. The Bonds or other acceptable surety must be in a form acceptable to the Township of Gloucester and be issued by a surety company on institution authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey. Certificate from a Surety Company is required indicating consent to be bound as surety and guarantor for performance required under the Contract Documents. Bidders are required to comply with applicable statutory requirements set forth in the Contract Documents including the New Jersey Public Contracts Law, NJSA 40A:11-1, the requirements of P.L. 1975, c. 127(NJAC 17:27) (Affirmative Action) and of P.L. 1963, c. 150 (Prevailing Wage) and Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (42 U.S.C. 12101, et seq.). The Bidder is further notified that he must comply with P.L. 1977,c.33, and submit a Disclosure Statement listing stockholders with his bid. The Township of Gloucester reserves the right to consider the bids for sixty (60) days after their receipt and further reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, in whole or in part, as permitted by law. The Township of Gloucester also reserves the right to waive any Bid defect where such defect is not detrimental to the best interest of Township of Gloucester and fairness of the bidding process. The right is also reserved to increase or decrease the quantities specified in the manner designated in the Contract Documents. The Award of Contract shall be made subject to the necessary monies to perform the work being provided by the Township of Gloucester in a lawful manner. The Contract to be executed by the successful bidder will provide that it shall not become effective until the necessary monies to perform the work have been provided by the Township of Gloucester in a lawful manner. The Award shall further be subject to the securing of the necessary State, Federal, and Local Permits governing the work.
