Demolition and site work for a residential development in Potosi, Missouri. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
Bids should be submitted in sealed envelopes plainly marked "DEMOLITION OF A RESIDENTIAL BUIDLING BIDCITY OF POTOSI" The building at 605 N. Missouri, Potosi, Missouri was inspected and tested by Meramec Regional Planning Commission and the Report states asbestos was found. Bids are being solicited only from responsible and established bidders known to be experienced and regularly engaged in the work of demolition, particularly demolition of residential buildings and removal of demolition debris to appropriate disposal sites. Satisfactory evidence that the bidder has the necessary capital, equipment, and personnel to do the work may be required. All bidders are advised that they should conduct a thorough asbestos inspection and the removal of all asbestos is the full responsibility of the bidder to use a contractor that is a licensed asbestos inspector. Sealed proposals must be submitted on the bid forms furnished by the City of Potosi. The City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept any bid, or portion thereof, which, in their opinion, is most advantageous to the City.
