Project Name: Business 40 - Crestview Dr to Railroad Tracks Project (TRACS) Number: F0544 01D District: NorthCentral Route/MP: Business 40 (Navajo Blvd) - Crestview to Railroad Tracks Funding Source: Minor Projects Program Construction Funding FY: FY 2024 This is a pavement rehabilitation project along the Business 40 route (Navajo Blvd). Project consists of milling and replacement of 3 inches of existing asphalt using 409 Miscellaneous Special mix. Project also includes replacement of existing striping and markings using dual component paving markings. This project will include numerous cold patch spot repairs, potholes, longitudinal and transverse cracking exceeding 1/4 to 1/2 inch width and rutting. The project also includes ADA evaluation and upgrades throughout the corridor. The design consultant shall lead project development to achieve quality construction documents on a timely delivery schedule. The scope of work includes: Development of a scoping document to identify work to be included in the final design Develop base plans from existing CAD and survey data Geotechnical investigations for any pavement or bridge approach settlement Traffic elements include pavement marking, traffic control and development of the construction schedule Environmental analysis and technical reports to support ADOT EP in providing the Categorical Exclusion Utility coordination, no conflict letters and special provisions as required for utility clearance Submittals will include final scoping documents, Stage III, Stage IV, and final sealed documents Conduct management and administrative tasks including coordination, meetings, schedule updates, comment responses, etc. Questions, in writing, shall be received by ECS at the below email address until 10/19/22 at 2:00 P.M.
