The City of Sunnyvale is seeking proposals from licensed Engineering firms to provide professional services for design and preparation of bid documents and construction support for the Sanitary Sewer Main Replacement Project (UY-21-01) ("Project"). The scope of work generally includes preparation of: preliminary design, design development, bid documents, and bidding/construction support for Public Works competitive bidding. Ancillary work includes: permit preparation/acquisition from City of Cupertino, statewide NPDES General Permit for Construction Activities, environmental document (CEQA Exemption) preparation, construction cost estimating, schedule monitoring, preparation of reports and recommendations, and project management. This Project is to replace aging sewer pipes and associated appurtenances, including but not
limited to rehabilitation of manholes, lateral reconnection, and surface restoration. The Project
consists of up to approximately 10,510 lineal feet of sanitary sewer main repair with some
replacement pipes being increased up to one size larger than existing (e.g., 6-inch to an 8-inch). Locations
