The Town of Holderness is accepting bids for winter plowing and sanding. The qualified bidder shall submit an hourly rate to supply the Holderness Highway Department, Supervisor with a minimum of either a one ton six-wheel pickup truck with plow and sander body or a six-wheel dump truck with a plow, wing and sander body in good condition with a qualified operator to be available 24 hours/day, 7 days/week from approximately November 8, 2022 to April 30, 2023. Salt and Sand to be provided by the Town. Route assignments will be based on equipment provided by the successful bidder. Qualified bidders must supply a current certificate of insurance for general liability (minimum $1,000,000) workers compensation and vehicle insurance. Contractor and all subcontractors shall certify compliance with US DOT Regulations, 49 CFR 382-Drug and Alcohol Testing for all applicable employees. All bids must be accompanied by a Business and Taxpayer Identification Information Form (W9). Bids will be awarded on an hourly basis.
