Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Manteca, California. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project.
As of January 23, 2023, the project has been awarded. An exact timeline for construction has not been established due to long lead times on materials, however, construction is hoped to start in late Summer, 2023. Once construction has commenced, it is expected to take 90 days to be completed. The work, in general, consists of installing a treatment facility to remove TCP from the drinking water. The system includes two automated sequences (trains) that process potable water through activated carbon filtration systems to remove the TCP. Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin in February 2023 and be completed within 270 working days. San Joaquin County has adopted a policy goal to strongly encourage local hire and apprenticeship participation in the construction workforce in accordance with the Board of Supervisors' policy. The work is located at Raymus Village Park in Raymus Village Maintenance District, Manteca, CA. *Information regarding subcontractor bidding has not been disclosed to the content management team at this time.
