The City of Campbell River is requesting proposals from qualified contractors to provide a recycling collection service for City facilities. This service includes pick-up, removal, and recycling of recyclables, which will include paper, small amounts of corrugated and non-corrugated cardboard generated from office functions, plastics, metals, and beverage containers. The term of the agreement shall be in effect for a five year period, renewed annually based on mutual written agreement between the city and the contractor. The city reserves the absolute right to negotiate with one or more proponents as it sees fit. Nothing in this RFP shall obligate the city to enter into an agreement with any person.
