RFQ Design - Consulting Services Dean Griffen Memorial Airport. City of Wiggins is requesting Statements of Qualifications form firms interested in providing administration, engineering, design, surveying, planning, construction services including construction observation, and related aspects of services involved in the evaluation, development, design, construction management and grant administration services for projects for the Dean Griffin Memorial Airport inWiggins, Mississippi, for a five year period. The potential projects may be accomplished during the course of multiple grants and are listed below. The City of Wiggins will follow the FA Advisory Circular 140/1500-14E in the evaluation and selection of consultants. The projects listed below are considered near-term projects for the Dean Griffin Memorial Airport and would be considered as potential projects for the selected Consultant. The projects are listed in no particular order. 1. Overlay of Existing Pavement 2. Property Acquisition or Easements 3. Design, Construction, & Expansion of runway, Taxiways, Aprons, & Hangars 4. Construction of Airport Facilities & Services 5. Activities related to Airport Expansion 6. Obstruction Identification & Removal/Remediation 7. Short-term and Long-term Planning Services Firms with demonstrated experience, competence, and qualifications pertinent to these types of services and having sufficient technical, supervisory, and administrative personnel to ensure efficient completion of the work and interest in performing these services are desired for consideration. Firms interested in submitting a Statement of Qualifications may request an information packet from City Hall at 601-928-7221 Questions regarding this Request for Qualifications shall be submitted in writing to city hall. Only timely received submittals meeting the requirements of this Request for Qualifications will be considered. Proposals will be reviewed by a Selection Committee. Negotiations will be undertaken with the best qualified licensed consultant. The City of Wiggins reserves the right to reject any proposal at is sole description for any reason.
