It wishes to issue a call for tenders for a mandate to inspect and maintain vertical transport devices and, within the framework of this call for tenders, the Societe d'habitation et de developpement de Montreal (the Societe) is acting as of agent. CATEGORY: SERVICE CONTRACT - ELEVATOR INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE DESCRIPTION: This call for tenders concerns the selection of an elevator contractor for inspection and maintenance services (preventive and corrective) of the elevators of the Louis-Charland Building located at 801 Brennan Street in Montreal. The contract includes, among other things, periodic inspections, service calls and repairs, on request. The mandate also includes the replacement of a programmable automaton, emergency brakes and machine guards as soon as the contract is awarded. SECURITY DEPOSIT: The bid must at least be accompanied by one (1) bid guarantee in the amount of $5,000, valid for 90 days. A performance bond in the amount of $5,000, valid for the duration of the contract, will be required when the contract is awarded, as well as general liability insurance in the minimum amount of $5,000,000.
