Renovation of a water / sewer project in Stockton, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Delta Water Treatment Plant Well 30 Rehabilitation The successful bidder shall perform all electrical and mechanical work to replace the existing pump and motor at Well 30. The successful bidder shall furnish the pump, motor, and all necessary parts to return Well 30 back into service. The successful bidder shall be responsible for any tools and equipment needed to replace the pump and motor. The pump is known to contain mercury and shall be handled carefully by the successful bidder by avoiding any spills or release of the mercury into the environment. The successful bidder shall remove and dispose of existing hazardous waste and ensure the mercury is handled properly; no mercury is left at the well site; and the mercury is properly disposed of in accordance with all regulatory rules, laws, ordinances, etc. Successful bidder shall be responsible to clean up any spilled mercury and pay any fines related to the spill.
