The following will be considered when awarding the bid: Equipment meets required specifications Installer meets requirements Installation lead time Past performance by contractor Pricing ITEM DESCRIPTION New Rooftop Solar PV system equipment with a 30 year life span UL Certified and listed on the Go Solar PV system installation must comply with local electric utility rules, regulations, and requirements All solar PV systems must carry at least a five year workmanship warranty from the manufacturer and subcontractor that includes parts and labor. Warranty shall start on the date of HRWC's final inspection PV modules must carry at least a 10 year manufacturer's product warranty, and at least a 20 year manufacturer's performance/output warranty that modules will generate no less than 80 percent of rated output under Standard Testing Conditions (STC) All solar PV systems will include theft deterrent devises, such as break away nuts and bolts, that will not void the PV panel/module manufacturer's product warranty or production warranty Materials used by Subcontractor must meet or exceed the Material Standards issued by the Colorado Energy Office. Copies of these standards are available upon request. HRWC is required to comply with The Hazard Communication Standard, 29 CFR 1910.12. Copies of this standard are also available upon request. Information regarding hazardous chemicals must be provided to HRWC via Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and product container labeling. SDS are not required for non-hazardous materials. HRWC does reserve the right at the time of negotiation to compare the new pricing to others on the open market. If HRWC determines that current market prices are more favorable, services will be selected based on price, lead time and agency convenience. You will be required to sign if you are selected as one of our Subcontractors. HRWC reserves the right to contract services with one or more contractors for the same services, depending on job location or availability and to reject any and all bids. In the procurement of services by HRWC or its subcontractors, no employee shall participate in the selection or in the award or administration of a contract if a conflict of interest, real or apparent, would be involved. Such a conflict would arise when the employee, officer or agent, any member of his/her immediate family, his/her partner, or an organization which employs, or is about to employ, or any of the above, has a financial or other interest in the supplier or subcontractors selected for award. Officers, employees or agents of HRWC and its subcontractors shall neither solicit nor accept gratuities, favors of any monetary value from parties or potential parties to contracts.
