REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL TO PROVIDE ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR TWO (2) BACKUP POWER GENERATORS FOR THE TOWN OF TRIANGLE, NEW YORK REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL PROCESS The purpose of this request for proposal (RFP) is to seek Engineering firms' qualifications', capabilities, and approach to provide Engineering Services for Backup Power Generators for the Town of Triangle. IN A SEPARATE SEALED ENVELOPE (OR EMAIL ATTACHMENT) PLEASE PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING: 1. A "not-to exceed" fee schedule showing staff hourly rates and the effective date for said rates in addition to any overhead rates not directly provided by the Engineering Firm. 2. Cost Proposal identifying the number of hours and total costs associated with each deliverable task: 3. Cost proposal for each major task provided separately and a "not-to-exceed" fee for each task and fee breakdown of all components of costs, including labor base rates, overhead and all other indirect costs: *Preliminary Engineering * Design *Construction Phase Work * Special Permitting and License requirements * Start up tests and requirements * Timing Any proposal received after the due date and the time will not be accepted and will be returned unopened to the Sender. The purpose of this RFP is to retain an engineering firm that will provide the Town of Triangle with the recommendation for purchase, construction , installation and operation of power generators designed in compliance with all Local, State and Federal provisions for use at Town Hall , 2612 Liberty St Whitney Point New York and at the Town Highway Garage, 5470 State Route 26 Whitney Point, New York The objective and intent for the generators is to power and compensate the Town's existing facilities in the event of an emergency. At this time is expected that several specific areas to be addressed by the specifications will include but not be limited to: two (2) generators, Town Hall has three electric meters and a smart switch located prior to the electric power entering the building
