Interested parties are responsible for the timely delivery of their Bid proposal. The Township assumes no responsibility for proposals that are improperly mailed, misdirected or which arrive late. All bid proposals must be signed by an authorized representative of the Bidder, and must be submitted in a sealed envelope to the Township Administrator at above address. All sealed envelopes containing a bid, including express delivery envelopes such as FedEx or UPS, must clearly identify the Bidder's name and address, and the name of the contact person for the Bidder, all clearly marked in the upper left hand corner on the outside of the front of the envelope, and "Pittsgrove Municipal Building Roof Replacement Request for Proposals", and bid opening date (November 9, 2022) shall be printed on the exterior of the envelope. Bid proposals must be submitted on the forms supplied by the Township. Bidders must submit one (1) original and full two (2) copies. The failure to provide all copies required herein may result in rejection of the bid. Proposals for the above listed services are being solicited through a fair and open process in accordance with the New Jersey Local Public Contracts Law, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1, et seq. No proposal may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening thereof. The contract will be awarded to the most qualified and responsible Bidder with the lowest total bid price. It is the intention of the Township to award a contract to the proposed vendor based upon cost, relevant experience, qualifications, and who will provide a high quality of service at the lowest price, in accordance with the selection criteria set forth in the Bid 2 PITTSGROVE MUNICIPAL BUILDING ROOF REPLACEMENT Documents. The Township reserves the right to reject any and all proposals which fail to comply with the requirements set out in the RFP packet, to reject any proposals not complying with this notice, and to waive minor informalities of any proposal if such waiver is deemed to be in the best interest of the Township.
