(MAI) invites offers from qualified Vendors for the Site Lighting Upgrade in Argentia, NL. The project is located at the Marine Atlantic Ferry Terminal site in Argentia, Newfoundland. The Work generally includes, but it is not necessarily limited to, the supply and install of new pole mounted luminaires, including supply and install of new feeders for wharf site lighting. More particularly the work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following: Mobilization and demobilization, including all labor and equipment as specified and as required to carry out the work. The Work will require the use of a boat/barge for access. Removal and disposal of existing pole luminaires and mounting accessories. Removal and disposal of existing wooden pole cross arms and hardware. Removal and disposal of existing cabling no longer required in new work. Supply and installation of new pole mounted luminaires and required mountain arms and supports. Supply and installation of new cross arms, mounting hardware, and steel plates for existing wooden poles. Supply and installation of new feeders for wharf site lighting. Supply and installation of feeder mounting supports, associated junction boxes, and splice kits. Supply and installation install new site lighting contactors. Submittals: Preparation, submission, and implementation of an approved Construction Schedule. Preparation, submission, and implementation of an approved Site-Specific Safety Plan. Marine Atlantic reserves the right to accept tenders in whole or in part. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted. This will be the only method of response accepted for consideration. Proposals will not be considered if submitted by fax, email or other open forms of communication. Proposals must be received by the closing date and hour. Late Proposals will not be considered.
