Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Austin, Texas. Completed plans call civil work for a municipal facility.

**NOTICE - **Please be advised, there has been a change to insurance requirements on this project. Please be sure to include costs for providing your own General Liability and Workers Compensation insurance. JE Dunn will NOT be providing a Dunn-controlled Insurance Program on this project.** TFC Capitol Complex Phase 2 - WorkPackage2 - Excavation, Demolition, Utilities, and General Requirements Bid Package JE Dunn Construction is the Construction Manager at Risk on the Capitol Complex Phase 2 for Texas Facilities Commission. We are currently bidding the following scopes of work: Mass Excavation Demolition Site Utility Demolition General Requirements Please reference project documents and Scope of Work exhibits in the plan room for more information. PROJECT SCHEDULE & LOGISTICS: Construction is projected to start Q1 2023 on the Lavaca site excavation, we will then begin the excavation at the Texas Mall and Congress site in Q3 2023. Please see detailed project schedule in the plan room for more information. LENGTH OF VALIDITY OF BID: All Bids shall be valid for acceptance by the Contractor for a period of ninety (90) calendar days after submission of the Bid(s). INTERPRETATION AND ADDENDA: Requests for interpretations, clarifications, corrections, or changes of the Bidding Documents must be made in writing at least seven (7) calendar days prior to the date for receipt of Bids. No Addenda will be issued later than two (2) business days prior to the date for receipt of Bids except for the limited situations set forth in the Instructions to Bidders. We are currently anticipating at least one Addendum early next week to include additional Scope of Work Exhibits, Prebid Flyer and information. SUBSTITUTIONS: Substitutions are not allowed on this Project. INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS: Insurance requirements are included in the Subcontract, M&E Contract and/or Controlled Insurance Manual included herein. Subcontractors will not be allowed on site until they have fully complied with the insurance requirements. PREVAILING WAGES: Prevailing wages are required on this Project. See Plan Room. HUB GOALS: Our official HUB Participation goal on this project is 21.1%. JE Dunn encourages participation from HUB certified firms. If you are not a HUB certified firm, please make every effort to maximize participation from second and third tier HUB vendors/contractors. TAXES/EXEMPTIONS: This Project requires sales tax on temporary construction. All permanent construction is tax exempt. QUESTIONS: All questions regarding this project should be directed to the Contractor via email sent to austin.estimating@jedunn.com no later than 2:00PM on 10/20/2022. Contractor and Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any irregularities or award the work to someone other than the low Bidder. We look forward to receiving your Bid(s).
