City of Pottsville DEMOLITION PROGRAM The City of Pottsville will receive sealed bids for the following Demolition projects 311 & 313 W. Norwegian Street will be two separate bids but will be awarded to one contractor.1. 311 W. Norwegian Street 2. 313 W. Norwegian Street 3. 122 S. Third Street The contract documents contain requirements addressing nondiscrimination in hiring practices, goals for minority and female participation, MBE and WBE participation, and related matters. The City of Pottsville is an Equal Opportunity Employer, minority and women owned businesses are encouraged to submit proposals.The Tentative bid award date will be November 14, 2022 For information regarding the demolition project, contact Justin Trefsger at 570-622-1234 ext 1374. Contract documents, Bid Forms, and technical specifications for the Project are available in the City Administrator's Office, Third Floor, City Hall.Please include in the email all necessary contact information (company name, address, contact person, email, and phone number). A fee of $10.00 for postage and handling will be charged to bidders wishing to receive documents by mail or $35.00 for FedEx delivery without a FedEx account.
