RFP - Safety and Security Oversight Consultant. The Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation ("HART") is a semi-autonomous agency of the City and County of Honolulu ("City"), created pursuant to an amendment to the Revised Charter of the City and County of Honolulu 1973 ("RCH") to develop, operate, and maintain the Honolulu Rail Transit Project ("HRTP"). HART is seeking professional services in the field of safety and security oversight consulting services (Consultant) during the design and construction of the Honolulu Rail Transit Project (HRTP). Under this contract, the Consultant will provide professional services such as support development, maintenance and implementation of the HART Safety and Security Management Plan (SSMP), the Safety and Security Certification Plan (SSCP), and the Construction Safety and Security Plan (CSSP). Supporting HART with the Security Oversight and Review Committee (SSRC). The Consultant shall coordinate with HART during the design, construction, and commissioning process. As directed by HART, the Consultant will coordinate and oversee the certification activities for HART's contractors. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
