The intent of this project is for a general contractor to serve as the prime contractor for The Rapid. The prime contractor is responsible for any subcontractors needed for this work. The expected start of the work is December 15, 2022. The project scope shall include but is not limited to the following: 1. Visit the site for a thorough examination of existing conditions. 2. Review existing construction documents, as-built drawings, and existing submittals from the existing project. 3. Obtain all necessary permits for the project. This may include MDEQ, local jurisdiction, etc. 4. Review the new equipment submittal provided by ITP (from ANGI) to ensure the new compressor matches (initial design intent, performance, controls, etc.) the existing compressor on site. 5. Provide to the ITP Director of Facilities for review and approval, a detailed and dimensioned site plan including the exact location of the duplex compressor. Coordinate the new location with existing conduits, unit clearances, and access prior to unloading and setting up of the unit. 6. Provide ITP with detailed piping shop drawings including isometric views; bill of materials for all piping, valves, fittings, and connection types. Refer to existing construction documents for further details. 7. Receive, take ownership, inspect, unload, and install ANGI Duplex Compressor and make operational to match and coordinate with the duplex compressor that is existing on site.
