Contractor is responsible for obtaining their own water source and dump site off NTTA ROW if high pressure water blasting is used. o Removal method should not gouge or damage the pavement surface. o Pavement sealer must be an epoxy sealer as recommended by the Type I marking manufacturer. Thermoplastic shall be applied by the extruded ribbon application method only. o New lane assignment arrows will be installed at intersections. o Crosswalks at ramp intersections will be removed and replaced with continental style crosswalk. o RPMs will not be replaced as part of this project. o Quantities for Joint & Crack Sealing have been added to the project should sealed pavement joints and cracks be damaged during pavement marking removal.
