The Scope of Work is for general construction of an HVAC replacement and electrical service upgrade to G.W. Stout Elementary School, the adjacent Warehouse Annex, and Cliff Schools for the Silver Consolidated School District in Silver City and Cliff, New Mexico; as indicated on the drawings and specifications. Bidders are advised that the following is included in the contract: 1. State Wage Rates. 2. Public Works and Apprenticeship and Training Act. 3. 5% Preference applicable to qualified New Mexico Contractors. 4. Bid Bond, Performance bond and Payment Bond shall be required from the Prime Contractor. 5. Contractors and all tiers of subcontractors whose bids are $60,000 or more must be registered with the Labor & Industrial Division of the New Mexico Labor Department. Responses to questions and requests for clarification raised at the pre-bid conference will be issued in an addendum. Silver Consolidated School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any or all informalities. Bids shall be good for 60 days following the opening of bids and may not be withdrawn without forfeiture of bid bond. Deadline for questions 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 15, 2023.
