Renovation of an educational facility in Charlotte, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The work includes General, Site, Civil, Structural, Plumbing and Electrical work to be constructed under a Single Prime Contract. The extent of the work is shown on the drawings and specified in the project manual. Each proposal must be accompanied by a cashier's check issued by or a certified check drawn on a bank of trust company insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation payable to Central Piedmont Community College in an amount of five percent (5%) of the gross amount of the proposal or by a bond in the above amount executed in accordance with and conditioned as prescribed by G.S. 143-129, State of North Carolina. If the successful bidder fails to give satisfactory surety as required by law, the Owner will retain the above deposit. All contractors are hereby notified that they shall be properly licensed under the state laws governing their trades. The Owner reserves the unqualified right to reject any and all proposals.
