Saving Project...

Renovation of a mixed-use development in Waterford Township, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

**A question was asked about the Donelson Hills Gym - The multipurpose room shown on the drawings is a dividable room with 1/2 of the space used as the cafeteria and 1/2 of the space used as the gym. The cafeteria half is toward the top of Multipurpose B131 on drawing T5.1B, the gym half is the lower half of that space. Also - the bid form was updated to combine these spaces into one price. *For clarification, Kettering Room K109 and the corresponding schematic shown on drawing T9.5 is part of the Classroom AV scope of work, not the Gym/Cafe sound system scope of work. *We were asked to give more explanation of how Kettering HS Room E101 is supposed to function... The contractor is to repurpose 6 existing flat panel displays and install in the locations shown in addition to the 2 new interactive displays shown for rooms 108 & 110 (the architectural room number combines them as E101). Each interactive display is to be mirrored to the 3 flat panel displays in that half of the room. We'd also like the HDMI out from room 110 to be extended into an HDMI input for room 108 so when the movable wall is open whatever is shown on the interactive display in room 110 can be mirrored to both interactive displays and also all repurposed flat panel displays. **Question: The drawings indicate an unmanaged POE network switch. This is not listed in 27 4000 equipment for Sound. Are these switches being provided by other contractors. Is this contractor to provide these switches. **Answer: The contractor is to provide these unmanaged POE switches that will be separate from the Owner's network. The equipment is not listed in 27 4000 but can be any switch the contractor typically uses and will support throughout the warranty period. **Question: After removing flat panels, IWB, sound field, and projectors is the vendor required to dispose of/recycle the unwanted equipment Answer: Yes, Any equipment that won't be re-installed (shifted markerboards, repurposing flat panel TVs for digital signage, etc.), the remaining equipment, cables, accessories, etc. must be demo'd/recycled.
