The Project generally includes: base bid includes approximately 83,600 SY of variable depth milling, and 12,400 tons bituminous surface course paving of roadways, selective base repair, resetting of castings and valve boxes, selective concrete curb replacement, concrete gutter removal and replacement, handicap ramp replacement, selective bituminous and concrete driveway apron replacement, storm and sanitary sewer pipe reconstruction, inlet reconstruction, traffic striping, traffic signage replacement, and related appurtenances on Eayrestown Road, Union Street & Maple Avenue, Jackson, Bear Head Road, Bracken Road, Tallowood Drive, Regent Court, Haines Longhill Court & Foxborough Court, Wentwood Court & Meadowside Court, Laurelwood Court, Nelson Drive, Lexington Drive & Lexington Court Intersection, Heath Road / Foxwood Lane Intersection, Sarnesfield Way, West Lake Avenue, and 144 Taunton Road & Taunton Road/Maple Avenue.. Alternate Bid #1 is included for similar work on Hartford Road. Alternate Bid #2 is included for similar work on McKendimen Road from the Borough of Medford Lakes to Bear Head Road. Alternate Bid #3 is included for similar work on McKendimen Road from Bear Head Road to Shamong Boundary. Drawings, specifications, and contract documents for the proposed Project, prepared by Environmental Resolutions, Inc., Consulting Engineers, have been filed in the Office of the Township Engineer at 815 East Gate Drive - Suite 103, Mount Laurel, New Jersey 08054, and may be inspected by prospective bidders during normal business hours. Checks should be made payable to Environmental Resolutions Inc. The payment for such documents is non-refundable. If the bidder requires the documents to be mailed to them, there is an additional Fifteen Dollars and Zero Cents ($15.00) fee for postage. Bids must be made on the standard proposal form contained within the drawings, specifications, and contract documents, in the manner designated therein and required by the specifications. Further, bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and the Project title on the outside, and addressed to: Township Clerk, Township of Medford, 49 Union Street, Medford, NJ, 08055. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., N.J.A.C.17:27, and all other applicable laws referenced within the drawings, specifications and contract documents. The Eayrestown Road portion of the project is partially funded by NJDOT Municipal Aid Township of Medford reserves the right to (i) reject all bids pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2 and (ii) to waive minor informalities and/or non-material exceptions in any bid should it be in the interest of the Township of Medford to do so. Further, Township of Medford shall reject any bid that contains material nonconformities or conditions, or which is materially nonresponsive. In the event Township of Medford does not reject all bids as permitted under N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2, in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-4, and other applicable laws, the Project will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder.
