The contractor shall provide all materials, labor, tools, equipment, supervision, utilities, insurance, transportation, and consumables to remove all specified trees and related tree debris from various locations throughout Coweta County --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Coweta County Board of Commissioners is developing a list of pre-qualified contractors to bid on tree removal services related to the March 2021 EF-4 tornado. Instructions and requirements for submission of the RFQ are outlined in Section 3 RFQ Requirements & Submission. Qualified contractors must possess a current business license issued by Coweta County or any municipality (city) in Coweta County. All questions regarding this RFQ must be received by 12 PM (EST) on Tuesday, November 1, 2022. Questions must be submitted via email to Nic Burgess, EMA Coordinator, at nburgess@coweta.ga.us. The answers to all questions received will be published in addenda and posted on the County's website. Contractors must acknowledge all addenda issued in conjunction with this RFQ in order for their responses to be considered. Following the RFQ process, pre-qualified contractors will be invited to provide bids for tree removal work based on individual lots or zones containing multiple lots. The work is expected to be performed between December 2022 and March 2023. A mandatory prebid meeting for pre-qualified contractors will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022, at 10 AM (EST). The location will be provided to the pre-qualified contractors.
