The City of Santa Barbara is inviting proposals from qualified construction management firms to provide services during the construction of the U.S. 101 State Street Undercrossing Project (Project). The term construction phase, as it pertains to this Request for Proposals, shall mean the Project's pre-construction, construction, and closeout phases. The services to be provided by the Consultant shall include construction management, observation, monitoring, inspection, labor compliance, and monument preservation services. The U.S. 101 State Street Undercrossing Project will meet the active transportation needs of the community by widening the sidewalk along State Street from Gutierrez Street to Yanonali Street, installing lighting to illuminate the pedestrian walkway, installing buffered bike lanes, and adjusting travel lanes to improve safety along this collision-prone corridor.
