Renovation of a multi-residential development in Dalton, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
The Dalton Housing Authority is accepting sealed bids from qualified firms for the CDBG project 2022-A. This project is the installation of HVAC in 4 - 2br units & 12 - 3br units for a total of 16 units. A qualified firm is required to have an E-verify #, and be registered on for verification of work status in the state of Georgia. Bidders are required to bid the total of 16 units. The bid package will include the scope of the work for the proposed installations. The proposed installations are being funded with Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. CDBG funds are made available to the city of Dalton through a partnership with the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Consistent with other Federal programs, CDBG requires compliance with various Federal laws, regula and guidelines throughout the invitation to bid; procurement process, project construction, and project close out.
