Base Bid work includes repairs and modifications to the masonry walls and fenestrations on the Naylor Street (rear) elevation (repointing, sealants, wet glazing, and sheet metal closures). Alternate Number 1 includes total removal of existing roof systems down to the existing LWIC/Gypsum deck for Roof Areas A, B, B1, C, C1, D and E for approximately 80 squares. Roof replacement includes minor deck repairs, rough carpentry, roof insulation, including taper, and a two-ply modified bitumen roof system. All associated sheet metal components and accessories are included. Removal of non-friable asbestos containing roof materials is also included.
