CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 11/1/2022 4:00 PM Lincoln Electric System (LES) is seeking proposals to provide and install replacement door hardware per LES Specification included in this solicitation. Successful bidder will be required to complete (1) the LES Simple Contract; 2) furnish proof of insurance with coverage specified in the Contract by an insurance company licensed to do business in Nebraska and rated at least B+ in A.M. Bests Rating. Certificate must show LES listed as additional insured for general liability and include waiver of subrogation, 3) The Equal Employment Opportunity Compliance Request Form, and 4) The Confidentiality & Security Agreement Form. Scope of Work This project replaces door handle sets and/or locksets throughout the listed facilities to update locks and replace knobs with lever style handle sets. We have identified approximately 200 sets of hardware that will need to be replaced. It will be the contractor's responsibility to verify the door count, door swing, lock function, etc. A pre-bid meeting will be scheduled, and attendance is recommended. o 2620 Fairfield Street 167 doors o 8484 SW 12 th Street 31 doors o 106 th and Rokeby Rd 2 doors Our intent is to have hardware purchased and installed by the end of the year (2022). For consistency between buildings, the hardware is required to be heavy duty, Sargent 10 Line, Grade 1 as outlined in the attached documents. After the bid is awarded, we will work with the contractor and Sargent who has our keying on record so locks can be factory keyed to match our other facilities.
