The Tarrant County Hospital District d/b/a JPS Health Network (the District) is seeking proposals for the provision of Construction Services for Bardin Road Clinic Site Remediation. Respondents planning to attend the pre-proposal conference should RSVP, in writing, via email, no later than Tuesday, November 1, 2022 (one day prior of pre-proposal conference) Send RSVP'S to bid_submission@jpshealth.org Deadline for Requests. No such request will be received if submitted after 12:00 pm (Noon), Central Time, on Friday, November 4, 2022 ("Question Deadline"). No Proposal shall be considered unless it is accompanied by a cashier's check on any State or National Bank in Texas or acceptable Bid Bond from a company licensed to issue bid bonds in the State of Texas, payable unconditionally to the Owner, in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the aggregate total amount of the proposed price. The Offer Guaranty is required by the Owner as evidence of good faith and as a guarantee that, if awarded the contract, the Respondent will execute the contract and furnish the required bonds within ten (10) days after the Proposal is accepted. The terms of Offer Guaranty are that if the Proposal is selected for contract award and is either withdrawn after the opening or the Respondent refuses to execute the contract in accordance with the Proposal, the Contractor (and the surety on any the bid bond) shall become liable to the Owner for damages incurred up to the amount of the Offer Guaranty. If a Respondent's bond is used, the Surety thereon shall designate an agent resident in the local county, to whom requisite notices may be delivered and upon whom service of process may be had. Performance Bond and Payment Bonds. Within ten (10) days of the award of the Contract, the successful Respondent will be required to submit one hundred percent (100%) Performance and Payment bonds underwritten by a company licensed to issue bonds in the State of Texas.
