The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities, also to withhold the acceptance of any bid if approved, for forty-five calendar days from the date bids are opened. Liquidated damages will be assessed at $500.00 per day for each calendar day the work is not substantially complete. All bids must be accompanied by bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the sum of the base bid and all alternates, and must be in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or a Bid Bond written by a company licensed to do business in Mississippi.
