Shanahan park structure design, supply and installation including safety surface (using existing swing swing structure). The existing play structure to the north end of the park is to be removed including all fall-safe material beneath it and disposed of off-site. The toddler area once removed is to be brought to grade and seeded. The existing playground area to the south will be extended according to the map attached and a new play structure will be built incorporating the existing swing structure. The new play structure must be for the 3-12-year-old user group, exceed Annex H accessibility standards and adhere to all CSAZ614- 14 playground safety standards. The fall safe will be material will be Engineered Wood Fibre (EWF) with installation requirements as per section 4.2. The existing swing set east of the new play structure will also receive a fall safe surface conversion to Engineered Wood Fibre. Budget - Shanahan Park Project not to exceed $55,500 excluding HST.
