Site work for a museum in Ingleside, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a museum.
IDNR is seeking a Vendor to repair the Historic Silo Structure at Volo Bog SNA. Please see attached Scope of Work for further details. 1. Grind off the entire existing elastomeric coating on the roof. 2. V-notch out cracks on roof, underside (ceiling), and vertical face of slab. 3. Apply Qwikstitch and/or Dural 50 LM to cracks. 4. Reform face and other depressions with V100 Repair mortar. 5. Route out joint on underside contacting wall and install Eucolastic 1NS Joint Repair. 6. After all repairs are complete apply primer (Tammscoat HP Primer) followed by the finish coat (Tammscoat) to complete roof surface, including the interior underside. 7. Any cracks and leaking joints found at the existing walls and base areas shall be repaired as outlined in items 2 through 5 above. There does not appear to be any epoxy type coating present or previously applied to the interior face of the silo. There is no pre-submission conference for this project.
