Renovation of a municipal facility in Hagerstown, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Note: If documents are acquired though any entity other than the owner, you must contact Jeannie Jefferies at jjefferies@hagerstownmd.org to be added to the Plan Holders List. This project entails the renovations of the building at 32 North Potomac Street for City offices, customer service, and drive-thru bill paying; and all labor, material, time, and other related items necessary to complete the project in accordance with the plans and specifications prepared by Newcomer Associates. LENGTH OF CONTRACT: Three Hundred (300) calendar days is the length of the contract. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES: Liquidated damages are assessed at $1,500.00 per day. FUNDING: Funding for this project is provided by the City of Hagerstown; American Rescue Plan Act of 2021; and Maryland Strategic Demolition Fund. 10% Bid Bond, Cashier's Check or Certified Check to be submitted with the Sealed Proposal. The successful Bidder shall submit a 100% Performance Bond and a Labor & Materials Payment Bond upon award of contract. Notice to Proceed will be issued early 2023. Wage Rates are required due to the Federal funding as listed herein.
