Furnishing of all labor and materials and for the construction of the certain Project designated as the "AMR WATER METER SYS- TEM EQUIPMENT" project with Contract Documents and Specifica- tions being on file at the same location. Bids are related to the construction required for the development and installation of new equipment to supply the necessary equipement in order to provide an Automated Meter Reading (AMR) system for the City of Saltillo Water Department and the inte- gration of the system components with the City's water metering & billing systems. The project will in- clude provding the necessary equipment to facilitate a fully functional AMR System for the reading of the City's water meters. Instal- lation will be by others; the Con- tractor will not be required to install the equipment, materials, etc. The Contractor shall coordi- nate between the manufacturer, equipment distributor and the Owner for coordination and inte- gration of of the AMR system into the City of Saltillo billing system, including any necessary training of field and office personnel, etc. as required for final field integration of the AMR system. The proposal and contract documents in its entirety shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and deposited to the Office of City Clerk located in City Hall, 395 Mobile St., Saltillo, MS 38866, prior to the hour and date above designated. No stripped bids will be accepted. Award will be made to the lowest and best bidder and the Mayor and Board of Aldermen reserve the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any and all informalities.
