Site work and new construction of a civil project in La Grange, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Project includes the following Work: The work to be performed under this project consists of providing the labor, equipment, and materials to construct the new well sites #7 and #8 including (2) new well, (2) submersible well pump, (2) well house, (2) 10,000 gallon polyethylene tank, (6) carbon steel contactor vessels, yard piping, site electrical, and associated appurtenances and the addition of (2) radium contactor vessels for existing well sites #5 and #6. Bids are requested for the following Contract: 2021 Water and Sewer Improvements Well #7 and #8 A pre-bid conference for the Project will not be held. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Section 746 Title VII of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2017 (Division AAgriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2017) and subsequent statues mandating domestic preference applies an American iron and Steel requirement to this project. All iron and steel products used in this project must be produced in the United States. The term iron and steel products means the following products made primarily of iron or steel: lined or unlined pipes and fittings, manhole covers and other municipal castings, hydrants, tanks, flanges, pipe clamps and restraints, valves, structural steel, reinforced precast concrete, and Construction Materials.
