This Request for Proposals (the "RFP") is an invitation by the Saskatchewan Polytechnic to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of Engineering Consulting Services for the Saskatoon Campus Development Project. Saskatchewan Polytechnic is Saskatchewan's primary public institution for post-secondary technical education and skills training. A member of Polytechnics Canada, Saskatchewan Polytechnic offers apprenticeship training and certificate, diploma and degree programs. Saskatchewan Polytechnic serves students through applied learning opportunities at campuses in Moose Jaw, Prince Albert, Regina and Saskatoon, and through extensive distance education opportunities. Programs serve every economic and public service sector. Over the past 30 years the Saskatoon Campus has served the needs of Saskatchewan and Saskatchewan Polytechnic well. But as an inner-city campus, it is landlocked and thus incapable of expanding to service an ever-growing province. To fulfill the aspiration of the 2020-2025 Strategic Plan and position the institute to serve the educational needs of the province for yet another 30 years, a new campus is required.
