Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Missoula, Montana. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; retail development; and retail development.
RFQ Design - Architectural and Consulting for Office and Shops Planning and Design. The City of Missoula (City) is considering acquisition of a property to house, with redevelopment, the Department of Public Works & Mobility (PWM) including Administration, Engineering, Water Utility, and Street Division in a single location. The City is soliciting Statements of Qualification (SOQs) for a qualified design team or teams to help the City evaluate site suitability, structure integrity and functionality, develop conceptual designs for building and site improvements, and prepare cost estimates. Phase I of the project, completed over roughly the next six months, will help the City determine whether to proceed with acquisition through evaluation of the subject site, as well as less detailed evaluation of the costs and benefits of alternative ways to meet PWM's facility needs. The City may, at its sole discretion, utilize the selected design team(s) for subsequent phases of the project, such as design and construction oversight, as well as for other related projects. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
