This Project consists of the Proposed HVAC Upgrades to the new IT/UPS Room at the Anthony Canale Fire Training Center, and all other related Work as indicated and covered in the Project Engineer's Contract Documents. The Work of the project will be constructed under an Overall Lump Sum Single Prime Contract- This Project consists of the Proposed HVAC Upgrades to the new IT/UPS Room at the Anthony Canale Fire Training Center, and all other related Work as indicated and covered in the Project Engineer's Contract Documents. The Work of the project will be constructed under an Overall Lump Sum Single Prime Contract - 1. The Contractor's work includes the installation of a new Computer Room Air Conditioner (CRAC) unit in the Canale Fire Training Center's IT/UPS room, and its associated refrigerant piping, condensate piping, controls, remote condenser unit, etc., as indicated on the project's Contract Drawings and in the project's Technical Specifications. 2. Work additionally includes the demolition and replacement with new of the IT/UPS room's existing acoustic tile ceiling, the construction of a new closet for the new CRAC unit, opening of an existing IT/UPS room's wall, (and any necessary reframing of the existing wall), to accommodate new CRAC unit's grille, and the installation of a new outdoor concrete housekeeping pad and secured fencing for the new CRAC unit's remote outdoor condenser unit, as indicated on the project's Contract Drawings and in the project's Technical Specifications. Contractor shall be responsible to clear and prep the outdoor area where the new condenser unit is to be installed. 3. New refrigerant piping extending from new CRAC unit to thenew remote outdoor condenser unit shall be furnished, installed, and insulated as specified, and shall include all manufacturer' recommended valves, fittings, devices, appurtenances, etc. 4. New condensate and domestic water makeup water piping, and required backflow preventer, shall be furnished, installed, and insulated as specified. Contractor shall provide new condensate lift pump for new CRAC unit. 5. General construction includes the construction of a new mechanical closet for the CRAC unit, including new walls, floors, and doors, as indicated on the project's Contract Drawings and in the project's Technical Specifications. 6. Installation of new fire suppression sprinkler heads and associated piping in the new mechanical closet and adjoining storage closet. Atlantic County will not be held responsible for vendors not receiving general information due to their not attending any pre-bid meetings PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS SHALL ENSURE THAT ANY QUESTIONS THEY HAVE CONCERNING THIS PROJECT BE BROUGHT UP AT THE PRE-BID CONFERENCE. QUESTIONS PERTAINING TO THE PLANS OR SPECIFICATIONS ASKED AFTER THE PRE-BID MAY OR MAY NOT BE ADDRESSED DEPENDING ON AVAILABLE TIME. Bids shall be received online only through the BIDEXPRESS portal.
