The Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District (District) recently substantially completed renovation of a new administrative office at 5050 El Camino Real in Los Altos, California. The building is approximately 40,000 square feet and will be occupied by District staff, lease tenants, and the public during meetings and informational visits. The District hired EDX Exhibits (EDX) to complete the design work for interpretive elements and have installed all but two elements: a 3-D topographic relief model ("Relief Model") and interpretive exhibit wall ("Exhibit Wall" and collectively with the Relief Model, the "Interpretive Elements"). The Interpretive Elements will be incorporated into the building's public atrium and lobby areas to enhance the experience of visitors and help them make meaningful connections to the District's mission and work.
