Description

Demolition, site work, environmental remediation and new construction of a mixed-use development in Eugene, Oregon. Conceptual plans call for the demolition of a transportation facility; for the construction of a transportation facility; for site work for a transportation facility; and for environmental remediation for a transportation facility.

Friendly Hangar is primarily used to store runway sand and equipment used for sanding on the airfield. The building is dilapidated and needs to be demolished, thereby creating the need for a new airside facility. New facility must be constructed prior to demolition of Friendly Hangar. Will included mitigation and abatement of asbestos in old ATCT. Project is in City of Eugene - FY 2024-2029 CIP. As of July 16, 2025, per owner, design team TBD.
