Sandy City Fire Department (SCFD) and Metro Fire Agency (MFA) are accepting proposals for contractor(s) to provide post-incident services to seal and board up residential and commercial structures, provide clean up services due to fire, flood, mold, asbestos, lead and any other need at the request of SCFD and MFA. This courtesy posting is an advertisement of a procurement opportunity for Sandy City, not the Division of Purchasing. Responses should be directed to the designated individual/office as designated in the solicitation document. The Division of Purchasing does not accept responses for courtesy postings. The contract award for this solicitation will not be posted on this portal. Instead, you will need to contact the designated individual/office as identified in the solicitation document. This solicitation posting will be canceled/closed upon the closing date of this solicitation; however, a vendors response will still be evaluated by Sandy City as described in the solicitation document. The Division of Purchasing is neither the issuing or conducting procurement unit for this solicitation, as such it is the vendor's responsibility to review the entire solicitation in order to comply with any requirements. Sandy City Fire Department (SCFD) and Metro Fire Agency (MFA) are accepting proposals for contractor(s) to provide post-incident services to seal and board up residential and commercial structures, provide clean up services due to fire, flood, mold, asbestos, lead and any other need at the request of SCFD and MFA. Proposals shall demonstrate contractor's ability to perform the following services: o Ability to provide physical security measures to all damaged areas including but not limited to: secure or protect exposed roof areas, doors and/or windows before leaving scene with appropriate material such as ply-wood, tarp, etc. o Ability to provide security, including installing temporary fencing, caution tape, etc. o For doors that need to be secured, contractor to provide a lock hasp and combination pad lock for each; for fencing, Contractor shall provide a chain and combination pad lock. The code shall be provided to SCFD or its designee. o Seal and board up services provided to affected party at no cost to SCFD. o Provide light and heavy equipment as needed for the investigation of a fire. o Provide shoring as needed to prevent collapse of structure. o SCFD reserves the right to hire a contractor if emergency clean up services are required for a SCFD or Sandy City facility.
